Partner Universities

The following countries may participate in the Erasmus+ Programme:

EU member states;
acceding countries, candidate countries and potential candidate countries implementing pre-accession strategy;
member states of European Free Trade Association (EFTA) being parties of the European Economic Area (EEA);
countries covered by the European neighborhood policy, which signed a bilateral agreement;
EU member states are becoming the participants of the Erasmus+ programme automatically. Other countries mentioned above may become the participants of the Programme after meeting the administrative requirements and creating the national agency to manage the Programme;
and the Swiss Confederation provided it signs a special international agreement.

All other countries are partners and may participate in certain actions or under certain conditions.

The Erasmus+ programme gives students an opportunity to go abroad to complete part of their studies programme. For staff it provides an opportunity to deliver lectures or train.
